Learning through investigation
Browser demo · biology
Investigate animal contests: compare signals, assessment, withdrawal and escalation in a teaching model.
The records are simulated. Model outcomes do not establish what a real animal will do. Teachers should check the explanations and suitability for their class before use.

These are the projects I'm working on alongside the published apps and newsletter.
Curriculum mapping and content development
I'm building towards a complete biology learning platform, from early science to qualification study. I'm developing the topic map, teaching materials and practice questions, with general learning and curriculum-specific routes.
Analysis and teaching plans
I'm examining changes to New Zealand's science curriculum and turning the requirements into clear comparisons and teaching plans.
Prototypes and ongoing development
Models where learners can change conditions, make predictions and explore simulated results. I'm building activities that connect concepts with data and explanation.

A preparation tool for learners starting Year 9, bringing together science foundations from Years 0–8. I'm developing explanations, practice activities and tools to help teachers see where support is needed.
For schools
I'm developing learning tools and looking at how they work in practice. Tell me about the topic, the learners and what you want them to do.
